Naturally Dyed Top 002

Vintage stretch top with a round neckline and a cropped silhouette with an extended tie-front hem.  Though sleeveless, the cut creates a slightly dropped cap sleeve effect when worn. 

The original label shows that it is 100% cotton, from Zara and is labelled a Eur size S, however our detailed measurements are shown below.

This top has been dyed in a indigo vat in a mottled pattern that mimics the sky on a cloudy day. 

The colours of naturally dyed fabric, especially garment dyed are never as solid as you might expect to find from a commercially synthetic dyed item of clothing so expect depth and variation in shade across the garment. 

Indigo is very light and wash fast, however fading will happen eventually - just like a pair of denim jeans. This will happen faster if the clothing is hung in direct sunlight or exposed to harsh detergents. 

This is best washed at 20 degrees on a moderate spin speed, with a pH neutral non-biological detergent. 

Due to the nature of indigo dye, some colour transfer may occur, especially when worn or washed alongside lighter fabrics.
